Re-Imagining Justice Opening Keynote with Briana Payton on the Campaign for Pretrial Justice

Join the MNJRC for the 2023 Re-Imagining Justice conference Opening Night Reception and Keynote with Briana Payton of the Chicago Appleseed Center for Fair Courts and the campaign for pretrial justice in Illinois. Doors open for the Opening Night Reception at 6 pm with appetizers and good coversation. The program begins at 7 pm with music by Jamela Pettiford, a keynote by Briana Payton, followed by a fireside chat between Ms Payton and Nadine Graves, Deputy Director at the Legal Rights Center, faculty at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and Host/Producer of the podcast The Waiting Room.

This event kicks off the MNJRC's annual Re-Imagining Justice conference. General admission tickets for this event are FREE with a suggested donation of $25.00 to support the work of the MNJRC and our partners as you are able.

The whole conference continues the following day, Friday, November 17th with virtual breakout sessions and in-person closing plenary with Governor Walz (invited) and closing reception.
