Five years ago, former police officer Derek Chauvin killed George Floyd and the city of Minneapolis rose in response, demanding acknowledgement of the rampant racism in our law enforcement and the need for a reckoning with the violence carried out by police against the Black community. The Minnesota Justice Research Center invites you to "Commitment to Progress: Five Years Later," a community conversation to explore efforts to transform policing in Minnesota since 2020.
