Bail, Jail, & Pretrial Policy: A Community Report-Back (VIRTUAL) - Twin Cities Research Group

Almost two years ago, the Minnesota State Legislature asked the Minnesota Justice Research Center (MNJRC) to study our state's pretrial system. Our research team traveled across the country to learn from attorneys, judges, and advocates who have transformed their pretrial systems. We reviewed research to identify best practices and understand where Minnesota’s system is failing. We talked to people who work in the criminal legal system. And we talked to community members across the state.

Join us and the Twin Cities Research Group (TCRG) for an engaging presentation to learn about MNJRC’s findings on Minnesota’s current pretrial and bail practices and our evidence-based recommendations to redesign the system and promote safety and equity.
